Wendie Wilson-Miller, Owner and Director of RSW Fertility Group, Founder of All Families Surrogacy, Co-Founder of SEEDS, and Magic Maker
An egg donor turned industry leader, Wendie Wilson-Miller founded Gifted Journeys and co-founded SEEDS to bring stronger ethics to family building.
For Wendie Wilson-Miller, assisted reproduction was not something she entered from a distance. It first found her in a quiet, unexpected way.
While attending the University of Washington, Wendie would occasionally notice posters from intended parents searching for egg donors. She felt drawn to them, but like many people in their early twenties, curiosity and courage did not quite meet at the same time.
A few years later, living in Los Angeles, that moment returned in a much more personal form. A woman who looked strikingly like her approached her in need of an egg donor after surviving cancer treatment that had left her unable to use her own eggs. Wendie said yes.
At the time, she was young, still figuring out her own future, and not yet thinking seriously about building a family of her own. But that experience changed something in her. For the first time, she saw up close how assisted reproduction could open a path to parenthood for someone who had already endured so much.
What began as one act of generosity became the beginning of her life’s work.
After her donation, Wendie was invited to join the agency her intended mother had worked with. She stepped into the field professionally and spent nearly a decade learning, growing, and helping families navigate egg donation and surrogacy. Along the way, she became increasingly committed not just to helping people build families, but to helping shape a field rooted in ethics, compassion, and accountability.
That calling eventually led her to found Gifted Journeys, an agency created to support intended parents, egg donors, and gestational carriers through the complex and emotional path of third-party reproduction.
It also led her to co-found The Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy (SEEDS), a nonprofit dedicated to establishing stronger ethical standards and best practices across the industry.
Through both Gifted Journeys and SEEDS, Wendie has become a leading voice for a more thoughtful, transparent, and values-driven approach to family building.
Her story is a reminder that behind this work are people who care deeply. People who grieve with families, advocate for better practices, and believe in protecting the dignity of everyone involved in the journey.
Wendie’s path began with one decision to help someone else. It grew into a lifelong mission to help more families find hope, possibility, and a way forward.
