Samantha Busch, Co-Founder of the Bundle of Joy Fund, and Mother of Two, Including One via Surrogacy

After nearly a decade of infertility and loss, Samantha Busch welcomed her daughter via surrogacy and helps other families through the Bundle of Joy Fund.

On the This Is Infertility podcast, Samantha Busch shared how difficult that realization was: “Having that ripped away from me was really hard. There were things I took for granted, like being pregnant and assuming I’d get to do it again. What was really difficult was the process of finding a carrier.”

Samantha Busch spent nearly a decade navigating infertility, IVF treatments, and pregnancy loss. Throughout those years, she and her husband, NASCAR driver Kyle Busch, shared parts of their journey publicly in the hope that other families facing similar struggles would feel less alone.

After multiple IVF attempts and heartbreaking setbacks, the couple turned to gestational surrogacy. In 2022, they welcomed their daughter, Lennix, through a gestational carrier — a moment Samantha described as both emotional and deeply humbling after years of uncertainty.

Alongside sharing her own experience, Samantha has also helped support other families through the Bundle of Joy Fund, a nonprofit she and Kyle created to provide financial assistance for fertility treatments.

Her story reflects a reality many families quietly experience: surrogacy often comes after years of persistence, grief, and hope. By speaking openly about that journey, Samantha has helped bring greater understanding to the many ways families are built.
